| MindRoom: The well-being that comes from the mind The “MindRoom” is a metaphor for the space inside the skull that contains the marvelous structure called the brain, the body organ that coordinates most psychophysiological activities.
“MindRoom” is also a methodology, based on training the mind and body with non-clinical biofeedback and neurofeedback technologies. Through this training, one learns to deflect negative/intrusive thoughts and concerns, to develop a greater presence, attention, concentration and focus and to increase awareness and understanding of how thoughts affect physiology and how, in turn, physiology can also influence thoughts. The exercises conducted in the MindRoom exert a positive influence on mental activity, making a mind-body connection that allows ones “personal system” to respond harmoniously to the various situations in which one interacts: work, family, sport, school, and social contexts. |
